Pope met Jamie O'Hara's cross with a poor punch, which fell straight to Nyron Nosworthy and his header at goal was directed past three Charlton defenders by Eagles on the line.The hosts eventually made their superior possession count however, with their first real chance of the game after 38 minutes
Peter Clarke tripped Igor Vetokele, after Johann Gudmundsson's low cross caused havoc in the Blackpool box, and Buyens sent Joe Lewis the wrong way with his penalty.Clark made early substitutions in the second half, to provide more power upfront for Blackpool bringing on Ishmael Miller and Nathan Delfouneso but it was the hosts who took the lead.Jordan Cousins was left unchallenged outside the area on 55 minutes and curled a brilliant low shot into the corner that left Lewis helpless.Blackpool struggled to create chances in response but with 15 minutes to go Davies's turn and shot from outside the box was well held by Pope.But in the 89th minute Davies beat Pope to Tony McMahon's looping free-kick and headed into an open net.Charlton could have won it in the dying seconds but Andre Bikey blazed over the bar from close-range after George Tucudean's cross
