Young Into England Squad

Young was not in the original squad for the games but after injuries to right-backs Gary Neville of Manchester United, and Micah Richards of Manchester City, manager Steve McClaren has been forced into drafting in 27-year-old Young.

Young is the third man to be drafted into the squad after Aston Villa's Gareth Barry and Preston's David Nugent, who was brought in after injury to Charlton striker Darren Bent.
