Jonjo Shelvey, the youngest player ever to play for Charlton Athletic has agreed to a one year extension of his current playing contract making him a Charlton player until at least 2012.
Shelvey, who made his debut at just 16 years and 59 days old, has been a key figure in the Addicks line up this season, so far providing one goal and several assists during the opening five games.
