Sam Suspended For Barnsley

Sam was starting to make a major impact at The Valley, and was beginning to be a first-team starter after scoring his first league goal against Coventry.

But he was sent off in the first half of Tuesday's 2-1 victory away at Hull and will now miss the next three games which start at The Valley on Saturday against the 4th placed Tykes.

Boss Alan Pardew is appealing against the decision though, and the FA are launching a full investigation into the 18-man brawl that took place at the KC Stadium.
