Sam Back At The Valley

The 22-year-old Addicks winger missed The Owls defeat against Derby on Saturday with a hamstring injury and Hillsborough boss Paul Sturrock has decided to send the player back to The Valley.

"I'd have liked him to stay but we have other players coming back from injury," the Owls boss told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"We are running over budget so if we are going to pay his wages for another month it would increase our spending."
