Orient boss Martin Ling revealed: "The last phone call I had before the (FA Cup fourth round) draw was from Alan Curbishley. He was at the Fulham game and left a message on my phone saying he hoped he didn’t draw us in the next round."
Ling warned his players it would cost them £10 each time they mentioned Fulham after the third round draw had been made. The O’s went on and took nine points in League Two from a possible 12 over the busy Christmas and New Year period, setting them up nicely to topple the Premiership side at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
