"Darren not scoring against Uruguay isn't a big deal and he didn't look out of place. There was huge pressure on him to produce, and with all the talk of the World Cup that's a big ask on your international debut."
"I thought he acquitted himself very well seeing as it was his first start, and considering that it was against a canny, rugged Uruguay defence. He tried to do the things he's good at and the things that have seen him score 17 goals at club level this season. He was on the shoulder of the last defender and made some great runs in behind the defence. He had a couple of sniffs at goal, but no real clear chances. And he kept battling and working hard."
