Fortune Returns To Stoke

Fortune signed for the Championship side on January transfer deadline day but was recalled for the Watford game because of injuries and suspensions to Souleymane Diawara, Hermann Hreidarrson, Ben Thatcher and Madjid Bougherra.

But with all four seemingly ready for the Newcastle game next Sunday, Fortune has returned to The Potteries as a replacement for now Reading defender Michael Duberry.

Stoke assistant boss Dave Kemp said: "We are delighted he is back - we never wanted to lose him in the first place."
