Dowie Remains Upbeat

The Charlton boss has said that he thinks the squad he has assembled is more than good enough to string a couple of wins together in a bid to move off the foot of the Premier League table.

"We just seem to lack concentration at key moments during games," Dowie said after the 2-1 reverse at Craven Cottage.

"We were on top too often but didn't take our chances.

"We are still relying too much on Darren Bent. He scored a top goal tonight with only a half-chance and we need others to start chipping in with goals.

"The Watford game this weekend is now a massive game for us.

"I'm used to the pressure with this job, but it's increasing every time we don't get a result.
