The veteran defender was sent off for violent conduct during the first half of Saturday's goalless draw at Oldham after reacting to a tackle by Rueben Reid.
It was Dailly's third red card of the season so he has been hit with a five-match ban meaning he will sit out the Addicks' last five matches.
"It's a real shame, he is our captain and our leader," said manager Chris Powell.
"It's a shame we have to lose him in this way. He's been a stalwart this season for me, but it's happened now."
