He said: "I don't think many centre forwards have made their international debuts playing up front on their own. Benty would have wanted his debut to have gone better and to have scored a goal but he did as well as he could up there by himself with the amount of service he got. There were opportunities for players to put him in, but the midfield five didn't do that, which was disappointing. I'm convinced if they had given him an opportunity, he would have finished it."
