"The people who played in the first 10 games were instrumental in what we did because we were flying," said the Addicks boss.
"But after that when we went three or four games without a point, I was thinking, 'well it will change this week' - but it didn't happen."
"The fans were coming in anxious, the players were too. If anyone looked at me over the 90 minutes on Saturday, I was shaking my head, throwing things on the floor and having a go at people," he added.
"But we are in the results business and we had to try to get them, so now we are playing 4-4-2 and I have changed the personality of the team."
