Jackson back for Addicks
Charlton can welcome back skipper Johnnie Jackson for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday.
Midfielder Jackson has completed a three-match ban for his red card against Yeovil earlier this month.
He may have his work cut out to get back into the starting line-up, however, after the struggling Addicks picked up a much-needed 3-2 victory over Brighton on Boxing Day.
Boss Chris Powell has no new injury concerns following that match but is still without defender Leon Cort, who has a knee problem.
Sheffield Wednesday pair Giles Coke and Connor Wickham will have late fitness tests.
Midfielder Coke sat out the Boxing Day draw at Blackburn due to a hamstring injury that has troubled him in recent weeks and on-loan striker Wickham is struggling with a similar problem.
Caretaker-boss Stuart Gray, who has no new injury or suspension problems, was boosted by defender Joe Mattock's return to the bench at Blackburn after a thigh strain.
But winger Michail Antonio (knee) and defender Lewis Buxton (hamstring) remain sidelined.
