Addicks missing skipper
Charlton will be without captain Johnnie Jackson when they host Derby at The Valley.
Midfielder Jackson starts a three-match ban after he was sent off towards the end of the 2-2 draw at fellow strugglers Yeovil last week.
Goalkeeper Ben Hamer is still recovering from the ankle injury he suffered last month so Ben Alnwick is set to keep his place between the sticks.
Right-back Chris Solly made his first appearance since August as a late sub at Huish Park following a knee injury and could be involved again but fellow defender Leon Cort (knee) remains on the sidelines.
Derby head coach Steve McClaren has no new problems and plenty of options.
Johnny Russell is pushing for a recall after replacing Jamie Ward at half-time during the 5-1 home victory over Blackpool last Saturday. Fellow forward Conor Sammon and midfielder Kalifa Cisse are also both vying for starting spots after grabbing a goal each while in action for the Under-21 side this week.
Midfielders Jeff Hendrick and James Bailey and defenders Michael Keane and Mark O'Brien also featured in that development squad game, with the latter playing his first 90 minutes in almost 10 months as he continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury.
On-loan Leicester defender Zak Whitbread is expected to resume full training next week as he steps up his return from a calf injury.
