A man of the match performance by the 21-year-old against West Ham on Saturday helped end Charlton's miserable run, reported The Sunday Mirror.
"Sven obviously has certain players in mind, but if he is looking for something a little bit extra, I think someone who goes to Germany full of enthusiasm after a long season would give everyone a lift.
"Bent can score so many different types of goals, with his right or left foot or with his head. There may be room for him in Sven Goran Eriksson's squad."
"He worked hard today and was a constant threat. Every time he is in front of goal we expect him to score. He is that good."
The same paper also linked the club with a move for Cardiff City's £3m-rated striker Cameron Jerome.
Charlton boss Alan Curbishley has enquired about the 19-year-old but the Addicks need to clear Francis Jeffers and Jonatan Johansson off their wage bill before making any bid.
Jerome has had a huge impact in his first full season in senior football with 12 goals.
